FENSA have appointed a new Director. Here is the official press release:
FENSA, the Government authorised self-certification scheme for windows and doors installers, today announces the appointment of Chris Beedel to the role of Director of Membership. Chris will play a key role as FENSA launches several new services for its members over the coming months, following the launch of the FENSA Member ID Card earlier in March.
Chris arrives at FENSA at a time of renewed focus on member services and will look to build on the organisation’s position as the largest self-certification scheme in the sector, whilst ensuring members feel the full benefit of new and existing services.
He will also drive new programmes designed to engage current members and attract others to join the organisation. In particular he will focus on providing improved customer service and, in the coming weeks and months launch new tools designed to support members in enhancing their offers to consumers, such as the recently released FENSA Member ID Card.
These sit alongside a longer-term intention to show that FENSA is investing in the future of the glazing industry, and providing the best value to its members. Chris’s appointment will give the organisation an advocate with a wealth of external experience who can pass a critical eye over its current operations and ensure members can engage with the organisation easily. He has already led the way in overhauling the registration for new members by streamlining the process, and intends to increase member participation in industry events such as the FIT show.
