This is COVID-19 business statement from the directors at Residence Collection & Window Widgets:

We understand this is a difficult time for all, us included, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our employees, customers and suppliers in all working together during this unprecedented time.

As you are aware, we despatched our last orders on Friday 27th March, initially for a period of two weeks, but this was revisited and extended to Monday 20th April. As we sit here today, the government have announced a further period of lockdown, taking us to Thursday 7th May.

Throughout this period, we have put the safety of our employees before anything else, and we will continue to do so. Which is why we are proposing to stay operationally closed until Monday 11th May, with a constant review of the government guidelines during this period, along with a phased return when it is safe to do so. Some of our customers may find this frustrating, however it is done with the best intentions of keeping our workforce and their loved ones safe and well, whilst limiting the spread of this awful virus.

For the past few weeks, we have put together cohesive risk assessments and return to work action plans, these include controlled measures on social distancing, PPE, hygiene standards and travel. We will continue to update and improve upon them, ready for when we reopen, as we are sure that these measures will be required for quite some time. We must all work together to ensure the spread of the virus is limited and once controlled, economically we can all begin to recover. We will continue with a key worker team, that areworking from home during this lockdown period and you can find their relevant contact details at the end of this statement.

We are proud to have been able to do a little bit to help during this lockdown by 3D printing surgical mask straps and we are actively looking at other items that we may be able to produce, we will continue to help as long as required. If you have any ideas or know someone who may need the surgical mask straps for themselves and/or their colleagues please do get in touch; We thank all key workers for their selfless efforts, they are our national heroes.

Thank you and please stay safe,

Sarah, Mike, Greg and Richard.
