There has been nearly 400 responses across the three questions posed on the recent DGB installer survey, launched last Tuesday. Below is the first update showing the results in progress:

The poll will continue for a few weeks, to try and help build up the picture from installers on the ground.

Over the weekend there have been soundings from ministers, and again today from Government, that lifting the lockdown too early will risk a second wave and let the virus spread again quickly. This narrative has quickly shifted from last week after the first extension was announced. These to me suggest the early playing of groundwork for more extensions to come in the future. So whilst we have May 11th in our minds in terms of a potential reopening date, if the Government decides to continue with lockdown, or introduces further measures, we have to be ready to put those plans on hold should the Government decide we have to remain indoors for longer.
