In an update emailed to customers, including ourselves at our installation business, Selco have confirmed that they are to remain closed over the next few weeks as the expected extension of lockdown measures is announced on Thursday by the Government.

This was their statement to customers:

To all our customers,

At Selco Builders Warehouse, our No.1 priority since the start of the Coronavirus outbreak has been the health and safety of our customers, colleagues and suppliers and we continue to monitor government advice extremely closely.

With that in mind, our branches and delivery services have been closed for the last three weeks and we believe it remains the responsible approach for that to continue at this time.

We are constantly monitoring events and reviewing all options to enable us to continue serving our customers – at least in some form – at the earliest opportunity, while always keeping the health and safety of our customers, colleagues and suppliers as our top priority.

Thanks for your continued understanding and we will provide a further update as soon as possible.

In the meantime, stay safe and well.

With best wishes

Howard Luft, CEO

Selco supply to various industries, including construction and fenestration. They join a growing group of companies taking the decision to play it safe a remain closed until a further Government review is held, which is likely now to be May 7th.
