When it comes to milestones, this one has to be one of the biggest so far. This very post you are reading is the 2000th to be published on this site!
It’s seems almost impossible to believe that I have now been writing on this site for so long and so many times. The idea of 2000 posts when I first started had not even crossed my mind. But here we are, 2000 posts in, a few controversies and industry milestones later.
Top 5 all time read posts
1. Tackling The Trickle Vent Issue
2. FENSA vs Certass: What’s The Difference?
3. Solidor At Odds With Door-Stop
4. Bi-Folding Doors – Which Materials Is Right For Your Project?
5. National Average Prices Survey: Results
I feel privileged to be able to write on a daily basis about an industry I am passionate about, and to write for an industry which is passionate about the work it does.
Woven into the 2000 posts now live on this site I am sure tells a story about an industry that has gone through severe ups and downs, huge evolution, rapid change and a whole world of new products. I guess it’s like a journey, and one I continue to take.
Going forward with DGB, I have so many plans I want to try. Some will work, some won’t. I’m learning all the time and I am determined to develop DGB into one of the industry’s best all round sites. I want to build and promote an excellent consumer zone. I want to publish even more daily content, more than just one a day. I want DGB to be the place for people who work in our industry to come to to read about the sector they work in. A constantly engaging site that pushes boundaries, tackles the biggest and most important issues, encourages engagement.
One area I’m trying improve on are my subscribers. For a site that posts at least one new post daily, DGB is a bit lower than it should be on subscribers. So, if you fancy helping me out a bit, feel free to pop your email in the bar below ;-)
A big thanks to everyone for helping me get to such a big milestone, here’s to the next 2000!
Well done, quite an achievement!
Thanks very much! Hoping I can keep the posts coming for as long as possible!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks Paul, much appreciated!
Cheers Kevin! And thanks for all your comments throughout the years!
